Bullying Among Diverse Populations: A social justice workshop

Pasquerilla Spiritual Center - Garden Room

Today, many of us have heard the news stories about bullying and how it impacts children in K-12 settings, students in college, and employees in the workplace. However, many of us are not aware of the relationship between bullying, prejudice, and discrimination, or the phenomenon better known as, bias-based bullying. Traditional anti-bullying programs often overlook this prevalent form of bullying that can cause long term social, emotional, and psychological damage. In this workshop, participants will learn about the prevalence and impact of bullying and bias-based bullying, and methods to address these negative behaviors as an active witness. Sign up by clicking on the link below. Please contact Dr. Seria Chatters at with any questions.

This event is FREE and open to all Penn State students, faculty and staff
